Meet Pratt!

We at Alaqua Animal Refuge, where I am on staff, are searching for the right home for this wonderful guy. Pratt is a 6 month old Golden Doodle with significant hearing loss. He had a troubled early life with a family that thought, “he did not listen,” not understanding that he couldn’t. He does hear a whistle and some tighter pitched voices. He is an affectionate, adorable, bright toddler.

Here is the reason I am writing--- he responds so well to JSJ and actually seems to be getting a little more hearing with consistent sessions. I asked the refuge to let me send this out to my students before he is made available for public adoption. (Doodles are always in demand.)  The adoption fee is $150, which covers all shots, microchip and neutering.. This also comes with assistance from me on how to work with him!   He gets along with other dogs, although he can play a bit rough. Most likely best to not be with children.If interested, please contact me directly as he is not yet on Alaqua's public adoption page.
