Come Join Me This Spring & Summer...

with animals, calm, and connection

Hello dear hearts,

Life seems stressful everywhere we look right now… and because of that, I wanted to reach out with something a little different—an invitation.

An invitation to step into spaces where you can feel calm again.
Where you can learn something meaningful and deeply purposeful.
Where you are surrounded by wonderful animals… and kind, like-minded people.

Over the next few spring and summer months, Ill be offering Jin Shin Jyutsu classes for You and Our Animal Companions in some truly special places. You can always find full details on my website, but I wanted to share a simple overview here.

 Reno, Nevada – May 16–17, 2026 (2-day class)
I havent taught out west in a while, and I am so excited to return!

This introductory class is open to all experience levels. Well be working with horses, dogs, and even chickens—and youre welcome to bring a well-behaved dog to join us.

The class will be held at the beautiful holistic equestrian Balance Point Training facility:
There is a discounted rate of $139/night at the Reno Hyatt Place (pet-friendly), but reservations must be made 30 days in advance—so if this is calling to you, now is the time to reserve.

 Stramproy, Netherlands – July 9–12, 2026 (4-day class)
One of my favorite annual traditions—returning to Stichting Dierenthoes Hurmes.

This course is taught in English with Dutch translation, and the setting is truly something special… over 300 animals of many species—horses, dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, pigs—all offering us the opportunity to learn directly from them.

Aeugst am Albis, Switzerland – 5-day immersive course
From there, Ill travel to Switzerland for the only 5-day class of the year—an immersive, deeply profound experience. Sonja and I have worked together for well over a dozen years now… and it is so nourishing for students, as well as for us!

Hosted at Ivo Zürchers sanctuary (www.gnadenhof-hodel.com), animals of many species—from horses to peacocks—live freely together, in their own rhythm. Our class gently weaves into that harmony, allowing the work to deepen in a very natural way.

This course will be taught in English with both French and German translation this year.

Riegsee (near Munich), Germany – July 25–26, 2026 (2-day class)
After many years, I am truly delighted to be returning to Germany—and even more so to be teaching alongside my newest faculty member, Simone Dericks.

Simone will co-teach, organize, and translate, bringing wonderful energy to this class.

Held at Gestüt Mühlhagen, this introductory course is open to all levels, with opportunities to work with horses, dogs, and cats.

If any of these places—or simply the idea of stepping into this kind of experience—speaks to you, I would love to have you join us.

These classes are always about more than learning techniques. I believe the animals are master teachers of, as Mary Burmeister says, “the Peace that passes understanding” as they guide us back to something simple and true.

I hope to see you along the way.

With warmth,

Adele, Giannina Mia, Scirroco, Bob, and Teja Leas
