Hello my friends,

I had planned to send out a reminder yesterday that the online 7-week course begins this Saturday… but when I got home from working at the rescue, my 14-year-old lab was missing! He’s always been a bit of a wanderer, but this time he was gone for over 10 hours. So many people helped spread the word and search for him. An animal communicator even contacted her students, and everyone sent the same simple message: “Go home.” And he did—walking in the front door around 9 PM. He was limping, dehydrated, hungry, dirty, stiff, and wet—but home!

Today he’s so tired he wouldn’t even leave the driveway for his morning walk. Where would we be without Jin Shin Jyutsu?!

He wanted to be hugged and cuddled for a long time this morning, then settled in for a deep session. We focused on the 5/16 in his ankle to lessen the swelling in his opposite wrist. He seemed very happy with SEL 24 (clearing chaos) and SEL 25 (gently and calmly regenerate and rejuvenate). We also used the Anchor of Lung to ease his breathing. I would feel so lost without this beautiful Art.

Hopefully your gang never pulls a stunt like this, but there are so many reasons to have this knowledge in your toolkit—for you and for your animals—no matter what comes up!

Now that my demo-dog is safely back, I’m looking forward to the kickoff of Online - Dive Deep into the Depths class

September 27-November 15, 2025

This is a true deep dive into the Depths and the adaptation of the anchor steps of the 12 organ flows for animals. It will give you a vibrant understanding of how to take the work to a profound level with multiple species.

We’ll be online using the Teachable platform, with:

•             5 Zoom gatherings (recorded) to share and answer questions

•             Twice-weekly video drops

•             Study guides and practice work

Each Zoom will be recorded and uploaded to Teachable, and all course content will remain available until February 15, 2026.

And if you’re able to join us in person, we’d love to see you October 9-12, 2025 in class at Alaqua Animal Refuge in Freeport, Florida! This is the refuge I have considered my home base and a place dear to my heart.  Here you’ll be a part of a sanctuary that has given thousands of animals second chances. This longer format class allows for time to sink in, like a retreat, with multiple opportunities to work with the animals you fall in love with. We’ll have labyrinth walks, a chance to share JSJ at a nearby wildlife rescue, and weather permitting, time for self-help on the crystal beaches nearby.
